Snowden Riverwalk

 

Riverwalk on Snowden Ave represents the next generation of planning and building design towards providing quality affordable housing incorporating a range of potential supporting mixed uses. The 40 unit structure envisions two primary volumes. The Snowden Ave volume reflects surrounding neighborhood scale, architectural elements and streetscape relationships. The northerly volume reflects its adjacency to an existing multifamily development while accommodating parking below, multi-use functions at the primary pedestrian entry level and access to a courtyard plaza located between the two volumes.

The master plan design integrated a range of site context elements minimizing disturbances to a majority of the existing wooded parcel and will extend a trail network for both residents and the greater Ossining community.
