White Plains DRI

Nexus Creative collaborated with the City of White Plains and Nelson + Pope to conceptualize architectural and urban planning solutions in conjunction with  integrated branding/graphics initiatives- to support their Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) grant submission.

Encompassing three “pocket” type parks, all services were aligned with a mission to enhance community identity, support grant approval, and improve public spaces by aligning with the city's Comp Plan.

    • Designing parks and public spaces aligning with White Plains’ One + Comp plan towards utilizing outdated and latent land parcels to better service diverse recreational and park space needs within three White Plains neighborhood fabrics.

    • Developing a cohesive brand identity for the parcels to reflect White Plains’ cultural and historic heritage while reinforcing future aspirations.

    • Create conceptual master plans, renderings and graphic boards for community workshops to obtain resident feedback.

    • Preparing a comprehensive graphic package branding the DRI Park initiatives while leveraging White Plains One + branding signatures to seamlessly merge the DRI grant submission.
