Messiah Lutheran

Nexus Creative partnered with Messiah Lutheran’s congregation towards realizing their desire to embrace accessibility as a community outreach initiative. Their spiritual and community based drive to welcome all was explored in a wide range of programmatic and facility based desires culminating in re envisioning the Church’s entrance and supporting sanctuary spaces. The new entrance sequence design created a central hub within 3 generations of buildings.

A new, central and accessible, entrance to open to a new library and media/education space, relocated office, and upgraded infrastructure allowing for more usable and inclusive space.

The resulting design literally and figuratively expresses a more welcoming gesture to the community as well as better serving all attendees.
